About the Signal2Noise Blog

Meru networks was founded in 2002 on a single premise – Wi-Fi for the enterprise will replace wired Ethernet to the desktop.  With that in mind, we created technology to make this possible.  Focusing on the user experience, we’ve been able to create a patented system that allows any and all Wi-Fi certified device to experience Enterprise class performance, quality of service, and reliability for voice, video, and data application.  We’ve been able to create a stable user experience even with the now seemingly “snail’s pace” of 802.11b!

The market was more than ready for this wireless revolution and Meru has been leading the way.  But we’ve had our skeptics, critics, and adversaries.  Regardless of what nay-sayers have to say about Meru, we always stay focused on the customer experience with Wi-Fi in the enterprise and it has paid off.

Our Signal2Noise Blog is where we spend time with you to give you insights to how we’ve been able to do it.  We cut through the hype, tell you what we’re really doing, and let you take a peek underneath the lab coats that have created the Meru “magic”.

The bottom line is this: The customer experience has many elements – security, mobility, stability, performance – and by building a system from the ground up, we’ve achieved what enterprises need – a replacement for wired Ethernet to the desktop.
